An IBAN, or International Bank Account Number, is a code used for international bank transfers to identify the country, branch, and account number. It is mainly used in Europe and the Middle East. It consists of a country code, two check digits, and a detailed bank account number and is up to 34 digits long, making it longer than a SWIFT code.
