"Minimum spreads" and "average spreads" provided by FX brokers are often inaccurate since most brokers use variable spreads, meaning the spread is constantly changing with the market. This may lead to unexpected slippage when trading. Furthermore, the data on "average spreads" are calculated differently for each broker, making it difficult to compare them side by side. If you wish to check and compare the spread range of various brokers under the same conditions, use our real-time spread comparison tool.
For instance, if you select 1 month (1M) and click the current value "v", it'll show all the spreads for the past month on a graph. Utilize this to see when the spread was at its largest during a given time period.(*1)

In the "Average" tab, you can compare the average, minimum, and maximum spread values for each broker by selecting a specific symbol and time period. These values form a line, where its length represents the stability of the spread. A shorter line indicates less fluctuation and greater stability, while a longer line suggests higher volatility and instability in the spread.
